Way too early in the season for this cop-out sounding talk,Titans need to strap-up and throw their own haymakers and quit sounding like a boxer that's expecting to get knocked out.

For real. Come out and try to smack em' in the mouth. Our fans are similar in the style of football we enjoy, and both of us love to see a slug-fest. Obviously, I hope it turns out different than you do, but I enjoy a good physical game. I just hope we both make it out healthy on the other side.

We need to punch them in the mouth early so they'll respect us. Our RB's better be ready to work.

Yep, have to try and set the tone. I'm just hoping we don't come out all flat thinking we rule the world after our game last week. I know most folks here have been saying that over on the Raven's forums, we are not taking you all seriously. That is not entirely true. There are plenty of concerns about CJ and Britt. We still have a young CB tandem back there. I think they played very well last week, but they had plenty of help because our pass rush was killing Ben. We'll see. This could go either way. And CJ can turn it on at any second.

Yeah, the only people who don't like CJ seem to be Titans fans. Interesting.

That's probably because the rest of the league only sees his ESPN highlights, while we see every snap of the inconsistency.

People that aren't Titans fans don't watch a second of Titans football. We never get the nationally televised games.

I don't know if we both ENJOY it per se, Titans football is rarely super-exciting compared to other teams.. but it's what we've got. And if it ends up in a win, that's great. Rarely as the Titans have they been as exciting to watch as the Colts, Pats, or any of the high-flying teams.

With Mcnair-Volek we had some air-it-out kind of games, but not since then, really.

Yeah, 4,600 rushing yards in three season of inconsistency. Man, if only we had a running back that could actually produce on the field!

C.J. is THE MOST inconsistent RB in the NFL. He could go for 3, then 2, then 34, then -1, then 0, then -4 the next time he touches it, he's all over the place. He's not getting 2, 3, 4, 2, 3, 4, 5, 2, 5 like everyone else.

That style works for highlights, but kills drives.

yes. In season averages, he is very, very consistent. Carry-to-carry, and by game, he is not.

But, if he gets free, he's gone. Consistency is not his strength, his speed, and ability to break the big one is.

On third and 1, you do not want him in. With the Hall of Famers, you want them on the field in every scenario. Not even a size issue. I'd love to have Faulk in on a goal-line situation.

Am I glad to have him? Absolutely. I have two CJ jerseys. But he should be splitting some carries.
BTW, I love the avatar pic, I've sent it to lots of my buddies over the past few weeks.
