Jared Cook- Ben Troupe 2.0?

I think the Titans wanted Stevens on the field instead of Cook for blocking once they realized the run blocking was poo-poo.

 

Seems like if Cook was worth his 2nd round pick, teams would be afraid of him and use double teams or at least constantly have one man watching him. That should help the running game too, ya know.

I don't get how you associate Cook's lack of production last week to him being lazy and not wanting to be a beast. I just don't get it.

Cook has to get in sync with Hasselbeck just like all of the other receivers do.

i was hoping this new OC would bring something different to the NFL.. since he came from some bootleg football league, i was hoping hed be different. j-cook, kenny brittanica and CJ on the field, theres some room to get creative there. leggo

 

If he were committed to his craft, he would have interviewed for the HC job, or at least the OC job, so he could put himself in the game and call himself on plays. Instead, he is lazy and relies on other people.

 

So some of you just don't think its possible that cook is just not that good?

 

It's amazing how that just isn't an option to some people.

 

I understand the 'cook is not that good' comment but I like to look at the big picture we have 3 TE's and they are not getting any passes AT ALL is hard to prove your self when you don't get a shot.I know that Stevens and Cook are average TE's but they need chances to prove them selfs.

If this keeps going Stevens should play because he is a MIni LT playing TE if your not going to throw them the football then just play the blocking TE all game.
