Cam Newton is going off on the Cardinals

One of the Packers key backfield players was out, and their passing D has been fairly weak this season anyways.

 

All I know right now is......everyone is making plenty of excuses for Newton's play. Guy is getting it done, now if the rest of his team can.

He threw 3 picks and lost the game.

The Panthers threw the ball 46 times despite having one of the best rushing attacks in football.

Stewart & Williams combined for 18 yards... I can't imagine why Carolina lost.

Cam has 3 TD passes to 4 INT in 2 losses. Congrats

 

I dont give a crap about the oanthers record....newton is a big surprise in the fantasy world right now... i hope he keeps up what he is doing...

 

He's a rookie QB on a bad team, so what's your point? By all accounts he's progressing faster than anyone thought he would, but I wouldn't expect you and a few of the others here to even acknowledge that much.

When you throw the ball nearly 50 times a game you tend to roll up nice stats. Maybe Carolina would be 2-0 if they had a more balanced attack.

Cam might have 6,400 yards this year but what does it matter if you go 0-16.

I don't think he sucks. I just am not comfortable crowning him yet. He gets Jacksonville next week. Carolina should get a win there. Then the hype machine can keep rolling.

 

sCam is the anti 'Diva'

He apparently studies and works hard along with following the gameplan laid out by his OC/HC. He produces nice stats yet all he does is loose.

Given his pre-season. This was a real suprise. I don't care how many passes you throw, back to back 400 yard games is sick. Especially in your first two games. It's not like they have always been behind either. He's being asked to throw. This is like when they said Lebron couldn't shoot going into the NBA. And he proved everyone wrong. Cam is putting it all together. Rookie of the year so far. Possible Pro Bowl. Winning is important though, but he knows that, and he's done it in college. So I like his chances. He's been there.

 

The guy sucks though. You can see it in the way he plays.

He's just getting some great numbers right now. It's hard to even explain.

He didn't magically become a great passer overnight. He's tossing tons of passes- many lame ducks, and he has guys making plays on the ball.






All will come to a screeching halt soon enough.

You bet everything you own he wouldn't have another 400 yard game in his career, and he did it 6 days later. Thats your cue to shut up.
