The play broke down and Cam hurled a prayer into double coverage. Not impressive.

Luckily Steve Smith is still one of the best in the game. Should have been INT #4 on the day.

Steve Smith made Rodney Peete look good and Jake Delholme look good.
Hell Moss made Culpepper look good.

I'm shocked by how much they pass as well. Especially since they have TWO good RBs, DeAngelo had 5 carries and Stewart 6? Seriously? They should be getting like 15 carries each and Newton should have like 20 less pass attempts.

That awkward azz passing motion/terrible footwork doesn't scream "sucks" to you?

Look, he can just launch balls while his receivers make plays all he wants. His luck will run dry eventually.

The weird thing is he scored 8 more points than Hasselbeck in my league yesterday.

XO is taking the train to idiotsville but what choice does he have? He bashed this guy for the last 6 months like nobody's business so he has to do some damage control. His hate knows no bounds.

Looks like he missed the fact that the Panthers have had a terrible running game this year. A rookie QB with no running game.

I guess he thinks the Titans have an elite running game also just because we have a back who in the past was good. :sad2:

Panthers have one of the best rushing attacks in football? Their high priced backfield has combined for 30 carries for 74 yards and a 2.45 average.

Since when is 2.45 yards a carry an elite running game? They have had no running game and that is why they keep passing it.

Is the hate so profound that you can't even do 2 minutes of homework before saying something idiotic?

What dim wad bashed a perfectly accurate 65 yard pass? If Jake Locker threw a pass like that you would be creaming your pants.

An 89 passing rating for a rookie on a bad team with no running game. Yeah that sucks!

I was about the only person with the balls to say he was the best player in the draft. I made the point many times that he creates big yardage. He is averaging 10 yards a pass attempt. He moves the chains and gets first downs.

The panthers offense has produced 52 first downs in 2 games with a QB that many of you said was not even worth a draft pick.

Last year the panthers offense had just 15 Tds all last year.

89 rating that'll be 70 by season's end once NFL defenses catch up post-lockout.

Buy in to the hype. Anyone that watched this guy in college knows we're witnessing a fluke.

He avoided pressure and threw a 62 yard bomb right on the money to a well covered Steve Smith.

He apologizes if his footwork was off.
