Wait... why is Nicks a top five candidate but not Britt?

    Britt: Rec - 98 Yards - 1,747 TDs - 15
    Nicks: Rec- 133 Yards - 1,964 TDs - 17

That's only 217 yards and 2 TDs on 35 catches on a better team over the last three years

I just don't think Wayne is top 5 anymore.

I'm not saying Nicks or Britt is top 5. I'm saying they're in the same category of good ( Great even) but not elite. It's just too soon to start comparing Britt to guys like Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald.

    2. Larry Fitzgerald
    3. Calvin Johnson(He could be 2 at the end of the year)
    4. Roddy White
    5. Greg Jennings
    6. Brandon Marshall
    7. Desean Jackson
    8. Vincent Jackson

    Here's why I put him at #3...

He can dominate like only 2 other WRs in the NFL can. (Andre and Calvin).

Roddy White isn't elite to me. He's got a QB that gets him the ball and he's a great player... just not above and beyond to me.

Desean Jackson is my favorite player in the league, but due to his size- he can't do what Britt can game in and out.

I looked back at each WRs last 7 games... and this is the result:

    Kenny Britt-
    837 yards
    8 TDs

    Andre Johnson-
    623 yards
    6 TDs

    Desean Jackson-
    427 yards
    2 TDs

    Calvin Johnson-
    512 yards
    6 TDs

    Roddy White-
    407 yards
    4 TDs

    Larry Fitz-
    604 yards
    2 TDs

So technically the case can be made that Kenny Britt has been the most dominant WR in the league for the past half season... and that's with Kerry Collins throwing to him for the most part.

So what would be the argument against KB at this point? CJ takes the attention? I don't buy that one either. KB has been the best player on this offense for the past 8-9 weeks. I don't think NFL coaches are oblivious to that.

Calvin COULD be at the end of the year?

    lol

I hate how no one watches the Lions- so they have no idea that Calvin Johnson is the best WR in the NFL.

Andre Johnson agrees with this also.

FWIW I think Calvin is the best active WR.

I've been saying this for a long time, but Calvin Johnson is hands down the best WR in the NFL and has been for the past 3 years. If he had any consistency at QB, he'd be at least a 1700 yard, 18 TD guy.

After what I saw the first 2 games, Britt is definitely moving into that top 3-5 area though to say the least.
