One win or loss does not a season make. I mean honestly... Who at the beginning of the season had us tied for the lead in the division at the bye? Not this guy.

Obviously, we have some problems to work through. What we need to hope at this point is that this loss brings us back to earth a bit, refocus the team, and take out some frustration on a certain group of cows here in 2 weeks.

 

And I'd still stomp the towel if I could go back to 08.

 

Lose to the Jags- worst team in the NFL
Win 3 straight- playoffs
Lose to Steelers- season over

I love reading posts on here right after every game. Calm down guys and take it one week at a time and don't forget what we really have on this team. A new coaching staff, young defense, a RB still finding his way, and a not so very good WR core. We're going to win games we shouldn't (Ravens) and lose games that we should win (Jags). I'm just hoping we're contending for the division later in the year.

 

Colts are 0-5, Jags are 1-4 and the Cows are proven choke artists that are currently without Andre Johnson and may be without Mario Williams for the rest of the year. I'm actually liking our chances of making it to the playoffs.

Yes, today was a flop but like many have said, nobody was expecting a perfect season. We lost a game on the road to a big team. Yes, we got taken out back to the shed and beaten relentlessly. At the end of the day though, does it really matter if we lose by a field goal or by 3 touchdowns? Not really, if anything, this will make them go into the bye thinking they have a lot of work to do.

Like others have said, we're still at 3-2. The Texans are banged up and they're going to play a tough Ravens team in Baltimore next week. Then they come to TN to play a (hopefully) prepared and rested Titans team. That game will tell us a lot about how good this team can be in my opinion.

 

I still have high hopes for this year. Our division is in our hands. I just hope we don't turn into the "somebody has to win it" division this year, where both us and Houston turns into choke stars and the team that reaches 8-8 gets it.

Plus, you know, if all that 2012 horse crap comes true, this will be the last Super Bowl ever. Here's hoping we can finally get our first win... while there is still an Earth.

 

The problem isn't that we lost, it was the way in which we lost. Our lines were dominated on both sides of the ball and whenever we blitz on defense we back off our corners giving up the easy 5 yard reception every time....

 

I'm just tired of being the Steelers biche every time we play them. Plus I have a brother in law who is a Steeler fan. I hate playing them because we don't beat them often and they seem to DOMINATE us whenever we play them.

 

We made a team in crisis look unstoppable.

It was depessing to watch. I credit the Offense with not giving up but the Defense was awful.

To see one of our percieved strengths fold and get pushed around at will was a shocker.
