I can't really say for sure as I try and keep and open mind. I have seen things I can't explain with conventional beliefs.

I wonder how many openly religious people do not believe in the supernatural...

I posted this on another site which happened to me late last year:

To this day I am certain I was sleep walking/did it without remembering, but it was very weird.

I doubt it was anything supernatural, but I also had something odd happen to me while I was asleep.

When I was in high school, my bedding always had three layers: a sheet, a thin afghan-type thing, and a comforter. They were always in this order. One morning, I woke up and my bedding was completely flipped over. That is, my comforter was closest to my body, then the afghan thing, and then the sheet. The thing was, everything was ridiculously tidy. The layers were symmetrically aligned, and placed dead center on my bed. I'm normally terrible at making my bed. I just don't have the patience. I assumed I just did all of this in my sleep, but something felt pretty off about it.

On the subject of the supernatural, I've never seen a ghost. I don't believe in them. I've never heard a ghost story from a truly reliable source. I nonetheless enjoy hearing them, though.

  5. Well considering people as a whole are complete morons, I'd say there's quite a bit.

My cousin once told me of some chemical the body produces naturally that causes hallucinations. Mostly during times of emotions on high. Explaining why people tend to see ghosts in times of sorrow- like a recently passed loved one, etc.

Wish I could remember enough of it to look in to it though.

    Found it.

    It's called DMT...

The same thing that is responsible for our dreams. Pretty cool.

The amounts of DMT in the human body are not sufficient to be responsible for anything. People who hallucinate just need to stay away from 'shrooms.

I disagree. Some parts are usually missing.

It's assumed to be responsible for dreams, near death experiences, etc.

Makes sense to me. Rather than just think people that see these things are crazy.
