Make a list of the top 10 RB's of the past 10-12 years. Then count how many rings they have. Do the same for QB's. You will then realize what wins Super Bowls in the new era.

who needs defense? just build an offense like the Packers. all you have to do is put up more points than the other offense.

All you need to be the Packers is an Aaron Rodgers.

    talk about a skewed list...

Dillon and Jamal Lewis but no Adrian Peterson?

and Priest Holmes on a team he didn't even start for?

McNair, Hasselbeck, and Vick? No Eli or Aaron Rodgers?

So be it, the QB list has 8 rings, and the RB's list I only count 6 and you did your best to sneak a few guys in there.

    Eli Manning sucks.
AP definitely belongs as does Jamal Lewis.
Shaun Alexander had one good year, same with Hasselbeck.

Either way, there are 2 ways to win a championship.

    Defense + Balanced Offense

    or

    Defense + Passing Offense

The common elements in both are defense and QB.

lol... Eli was good when Chris Palmer was QB coach... and then he sucked... hmmmm.....

have to agree with you on this though... defense wins championships.... such as the 2001 ravens with trent dilfer at QB... wow
plus they didn't have any WRs either for those so ugly towards ours... i mean, stockley was #1 while Qadry Ismail (???) was their second... not really household names here..
only "names" on the offense was sharpe and jamal lewis

NYG don't have a great defense, but they just beat Tom Brady.

the Ravens do have a great defense, and they lost to Matt Hasselbeck. What's your point?

I wasn't talking about Meaningless games in October and Nobember, I was talking about Superbowls.

2 of the 3 last great defenses to make a superbowl lost to great QB's, Peyton vs Chicago and Rodgers vs Pittsburgh. Pitt beat Kurt Warner but Kurt was far from great at that point and they gave that game away.
