McCarthy has won me over, I don't see Munchak playing him over a healthy Ruud though. Not saying it's the right call just how I see it playing out.

Well at least now we have a thread where it's easy to single out the people who have no clue about football....

I voted for Ruud, for the simple reason that McCarthy played in ONE game and in that game our defensive line dominated the opposing offensive line, keeping blockers of McCarthy allowing him to make plays. Ruud would have looked like an allstar as well.

We need to see McCarthy play a game where it's not a walkover to be able to tell if he's starter material or not.

But hey I guess people are also ready to crown Hope the best safety in the NFL again, because he got that INT....

I am holding my opinion until after the Falcon's game...that is going to be a test of our entire defense. Let's see if he can cover Gonzales...

I went McCarthy and I'm not going to give a big explanation why but simply, he showed up yesterday. He made some plays and he didn't screw up. Ruud hasn't impressed me at all this year, McCarthy already has.

Sums up how good he was yesterday.

Like some of you already mentioned, will be curious to see him in coverage vs. TE's though.. Didn't see much of that yesterday..

Munchak has already said Ruud will remain the starter when healthy.. He may not be ready for the Falcons game though.. Which would be a HUGE test for Mccarthy with Turner in the backfield and Gonzales at TE..

I 100% expect us to let Ruud walk this off season and anoint Mccarthy with the starting MLB job next year though.

I was at the game. Rudd should not get any playing time.

Didn't he say the same thing about Babineax? Hope was healthy but didn't start. I don't think we see the Titans rush back Ruud just so they can see how he does in ATL.

Munchak... Halloween is over, you can stop being Jeff Fisher now.

Christ. Just admit you made a roster error. How hard is that? These coaches kill me with their "Well this guy is the starter no matter what because I decided he was 3 months ago."
