John Fox on Tim Tebow

If Cam Newton can do well, Tebow can too.

However I figure they'll both level out to the same amount of suck by next year.

 

It's just painful to watch Tebow throw the ball. Newton has a cannon though. In a couple of years Newton will be a great QB, and Tebow will be lucky to have a job in the NFL at all.

 

Cam is actually playing very well and has shown that he is a really good passer. Tebow's passing skills are horrible but he's winning with limited weapons. Cam is losing with really good RBs, good TEs and a really good WR in a tough division. Playing in the AFC West gives Tebow the advantage.

I think that both will be really good QBs. Tebow will win more. Cam should leave Carolina the first chance he gets.

I'm honestly a little surprised Fox is being so open about this. I've always considered him Jeff Fisher's half brother, but telling the truth is not something a Fisher would ever do. I'm impressed.

 

As an LSU fan, I've always hated Tebow but now I find myself actually rooting for him because so many of these sports pundits just beat him into the ground.. and why, because he sucks as an NFL passer... the horror! I like to watch their offense because it's different (much like the wildcat) but it will be shut down soon and he will probably get sent to the bench... but for now, I hope he runs smooth over Reavis and beats the Jets tonight.... I get a kick out of the haters he has amongst sports writers..

 

I would have never thought ANY team in the NFL would ever give into the fans......this franchise seems to have done just that.
It's almost as if Fox is saying...."Here you go. You fans are screaming for him. Here he is....and it's gonna blow up sooner than later."
Tebow is a good athlete and a good person. He is a terrible NFL QB.
And for dog's sake.....don't tell me to look at his record. We all have experience with the " he just wins" crap.

 

do you think if the Jets had a veteran like Hasselbeck they'd be insanely good? Sanchez is awful and really seems to be holding them back (not like I care I hate Rex Ryan)

 

Both QBs in the game are bad...esp Tebow....can't complete an easy out pattern
