Had The Texans picked up Vince Young

    (He'd probably be just as injured as Leinart and Schaub) but it could have led to some Tebow type hometown hype and hysteria. Instead they hang their hats on a couple of post-Thanksgiving over-dried-out turkeys..
    LOL. Texans screws the pooch again..

    Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but at the time it would have been a distraction... With your own fans rooting for your QB, who's thrown for back to back 4,000 yard seasons, to get hurt/pulled in favor of VY.

    I wonder if our O-line would be as putrid if VY was still here? We might be 7-4 instead of 6-5...or 4-7....CJ might have 1500 yards by now. Or just 699..I do find it amazing that as bad as CJ has been this season, he's only 106 yards behind Arian Foster in rushing yards

    VY while very talented is unfortunately mentally and physically fragile.Had he been tougher in both respects we very well might've won a few big games and possibly a Super Bowl by now but ended up letting him go because he wasn't able to stay healthy or get along with coaches.VY and CJ could've been a killer combination and we saw a glimpse of what could've been at the last half of '09 when this team won eight straight.It was not to be....

    While VY and CJ did have some good games in the past i think if CJ can get back to creating havoc on opposing defenses that him and Locker just might be what VY and CJ could've been......

    Nope missed that part. But still whats the point of this thread? Texans "screwed the pooch" cause we didnt sign a headcase QB just because he's from Houston?

    Man only if the Texans had predicted that their 1st and future 2nd string QB would go down at the start of the season they could of brought in VY instead of bringing back Leinart? :rolleyes:
