Seems mandatory that we keep finny. Although Verner JMac and possibly Tommie Campbell all appear to have bright futures. Griff is a must to resign. I'd also resign Ahmard, Lavelle, and I suppose Velasco. Don't think we need Hope or Ruud any longer

Well really any safety is going to get exposed if the safety himself whiffs on 20% of his tackles. Griffin doesn't have much issue being in the right pace right time, his issue is he's the last guy mostly, and when he misses, we all know it.

Now if you want to use that excuse, use it for Verner. He gets exposed when the QB has time, he's slower than all our DB's.

 

I think I'd also bring all those guys back, but with Lavelle Hawkins, I'd hold off til I see what the draft offers. He's had too much time to only be getting this good, just now. Over the last 3 weeks, he's had his most production he's ever had through 3 weeks. These last performances aren't him, he's either fighting for a contract or somebody stole his jersey. He's good between the 20's, but he's not a red zone threat at all. Everybody deserves a 2nd chance, but he hasn't earned a 2nd NFL contract. Not on my favorite team anyway. But he's welcome to come back if there's no one better.
