I know I'll catch heat here, but, I agree with Gunny all the way. Sure, I'm mad we just lost to the win-less colts, but am I going to stress about it? Nope. Does it make me less of a fan? Not at all. I'm unhappy about it, but I'm mature enough not to overreact and accept it. No one imagined we'd be as far as we are this season. Just be thankful they've given you more to root for, than a lot of other teams out there. No one here actually plays on the Tennessee Titans, so grow up, stop being a sore loser, and stop trying to bash Gunny, because he actually has a cool head on his shoulders.

Sounds almost exactly how my day went.

I'm just glad none of my friends (of opposing teams) rubbed this one in.

I can't wait to go into work where I am harassed by co-workers every single time the Titans lose (even when we lost to the Saints).

I can only imagine what will be said when I walk in after a loss to a team that went 9 games without even having a lead in a game.

Another perk of living in England, none of my co-workers care or know anything about the NFL. I get relative peace after abysmal losses like yesterdays.

Is the local media too soft? Yeah i would say so but what do people want?

Mr Munchack you started the season with an average team and are now 7-7. Explain yourself damn it!

We have not had a top 10 type QB since 2003 and a top 10 defense since 2008. We get those 2 things and we will be ok.

Locker looks that type of QB. Not sure what to do with that damn defense.

Look RT, my point is we keep seeing the same things here, it goes to systemic problem if you ask me. We watch this team show up and give half hearted effort in games that mean something. They play them with the effort of a preseason game. That is what it looked like to me yesterday, a preseason effort. I know you don't win every game, but you should play to win every game. And the local media is a joke here, they are much more concerned with having access than asking hard questions. What I would love to see asked would be "Coach, is that effort acceptable to you?", "Coach, at what point will players and coaches be held responsible for their effort?" "Coach, will you be making any changes this off season to your staff?", "Coach, We know you more or less had to take what you could get this off season but there is no reason to continue down that road is there?"

I agree with your comment about Locker. We haven't even seen him with Britt and a healthy receiving core and he's still putting up great numbers. He's definitely been a blessing in that he's appeased the VY fans (he's mobile as well) and those who wanted a more traditional QB. Now we have someone who can play from the pocket and use his mobility when needed who doesn't have baggage and half the fan base against him.

As far as the defense goes I don't think we're that far off. While we've given up yards and points this year, I think we're only a few pieces from being really good on that side of the ball. Being able to throttle the Saints without our starting CB should say a lot. If we improve our D-Line (we need one more interior lineman and a healthy Morgan) and can get better safety play we'll be very good next year.

I've seen enough out of our young guys to suspect that our FO is planning on building something special. We're only 2-3 players away from being real contenders, not just a good team.

I'm proud of the season we've had. The players know now that they've got a lot of work ahead this off-season but that they can compete with anybody. With that said, the AFC South could very well be the 1st or 2nd toughest division next year.

One of my frustrations with other fans is that a lot of people tend to assume that any time a team doesn't put forth the desired result, it is because they don't care or aren't trying.

I know that a lot of you played sports growing up and I'm sure some of you have competitive hobbies. There are days where you do everything right to put yourself in a position to succeed and then you can't seem to do anything right when it counts. Only the players themselves know the answer to that...

There is a lot of parity in the league and sometimes bad teams beat average or good teams.
