You know what is the oddest thing about that entire list of WRs you just mentioned? There is one first round pick among them(Meachem) and he is probably the worst out of the whole bunch.

We've definitely tried to go the value route with WRs like the teams you mentioned and it just hasn't worked out.

Yeah, the Titans clearly suck at finding value at wide receiver in the draft. That's why I am pretty much ready for them to give up trying that route and would prefer to see the team just invest another first rounder at the position. Outside of Vincent Jackson or Dwayne Bowe via free agency (which are both extremely unlikely), I think drafting a guy like Michael Floyd in round 1 is the best way for the Titans to upgrade the position.

D.Will is basically a 2nd round WR so cross that off your list, and the things I've made bold in your post seem funny to read.

The CBA will force teams to spend money, and you're asking Bud to provide us with ONE WR to pair with Britt and Washington, he doesn't hire players you know.

I couldn't agree more. I want to be optimistic and I know Britt was playing at an elite level before his injury this year. But I think the organization and the fans here are crazy to take it for granted that Britt will return to that kind of form next season after such a bad injury, and that doesn't even take into account his non-injury-related unreliability/misconduct.

Washington has been impressive this year and DWill has shown potential, but the Titans really need to add another big-bodied downfield threat in order to stay competitive and set Locker up for success.

And I've given Cook the benefit of the doubt for so long, but its clear that he is not reliable as a TE and can't be counted on as a consistently productive member of the receiving corps. Furthermore, y'all who say that he is a WR are delusional, he obviously can't separate and run routes effectively.

We haven't had the best luck in trying to find value at the wr position but look at who is throwing the ball to those receiving groups you mentioned. 2 if not 3 of the top 5 qbs in the league, depending on how you value therapist, i mean big ben. Sorry but VY and ole kerry don't really hold a candle to those guys. And hass started out hot and is a big reason why washington, dwill, and hawkins are having the year they are. Britt getting hurt of course didn't hurt their numbers either.

I agree. My friend is a huge Irish fan and he always talked up Floyd so I watched a couple games with him and dude is a stud. Team him and Kenny up with Nate out of the slot and we'll be good at WR for good while.

Blackmon will probably go top 10 if not top 5.

I've never been impressed with Michael Floyd. He looks really stiff when he runs.

The bunch we are playing at wide out would have a hard time making many nfl rosters. They has been true for a number of years. Hate to bring it up over and over but we could have had brandon Lloyd for a 5th rounder. The guy can play and a 5th rounder was cheap enough. Perfect 2 for Britt and would have helped us maybe win another game or 2 this year.

He was actually traded for a 6th IIRC.
