Playoff Breakdown

16 is pushing it... there were a couple of other games as well... colts, jags come in mind..

basically, we need to win, bengals need to lose is all that i see...
however, knowing our luck.. even if the above happens, we still dont get in..

 

Bironas kicks a field goal on opening day we have a W,If we don't collapse against Cincy thats a W,The last seconds of the Sants game we almost pulled off a W,Last but not least i think if Locker starts we beat Indy last week.Thats three or four more W's we should've add so really our record should be 11-4 or 10-5 or close to it if more things would've worked out.In my opinion this is a team that should be around 10-5 mainly because of the Jax and Cincy games should've absolutely been won.Hopefully we win next week and scenarios go our way and we make it in....

 

I like those odds, compared too a week ago anyways.

The way I'm looking at it.. If we win and the Bengals lose, I like our chances.

I think if we beat Houston and Baltimore takes care of Cincy the rest should fall into place.

 

I think the only 1 that controls their own fate is the Bungels. Everyone else needs help.

 

You also have to stop and think about how one decision,play or blunder can come back to haunt.First game of the season in Jax instead of lobbing a long pass in the final seconds we send Bironas out to make a field goal and win the game.That happens and we control our own destiny.

 

Hindsight is 20/20. Say we send Bironas out and make the FG and win. Who's to say the rest of the season plays out as it did?
