I think the division gets easier regardless, Colts are going to have to dish out some big money to keep their core players intact and we saw some of the frustration last year when (I believe Wayne) was out.

Realistically I just don't see Luck being as good as Manning. Manning is a once in a lifetime QB who has (apparently) been dragging a mediocre team to the playoffs (and to the SB) all these years.

Luck will be good, but he isn't good enough to mask the fact that the Colts are a terrible team. I think their rebuilding process is going to take several years.

We have been through this before.

How can they trade Manning? He is 35, will be 36 in march, has a career compromising injury and is due $28M in early march and a salary of $7.4M.

Manning just signed a new 6 year $90M contract last July.

No team can risk giving up anything for him. Anything!

The Colts have no choice but to draft the best QB in this draft. Manning's age and physical condition compels them to do that! They can't trade that pick they have to draft Luck or Griffin period!

Trade him after you paid that $28M? Maybe the Colts feel that it is something he has earned for his years of service but that is a lot of money to shell out for a guy you are going to trade.

Manning will be 36 in march.

The Colts honestly need to move on. They don't have the players around Manning to honestly compete for a title any longer and they need a new coach.

If i'm them i rebuild in total.

You guys do realize the Colts can't trade Peyton Manning right? He has a "no trade" clause built into his contract.

The only way he's out in Indianapolis is if he 1.) retires, 2.) gets released, or 3.) waives his no trade clause.

The Colts however should get Andrew Luck if they can. He may not ever be Peyton Manning, but Peyton Manning will never be Peyton Manning again. Manning is done ruling the NFL so Indy HAS to get the next great QB.

I actually hope they don't get to draft Luck, as a Titans fan that's gonna suck.

The Colts will draft Luck and he will sit behind Manning (if he's healthy enough to start). Its the dream situation for him. Luck will be learning from the best student of the game there is!
