Since the Titans moved to Nashville in '99, have they been successful so far?

    You have to take in account what they did in Houston compared in Tennessee, and they did NOTHING! The best thing I remember they did in Houston was getting there butts handed to them on the biggest comeback in NFL history, Bills.....*cringe*

    But when they moved to Tennessee look what they did to the bill BOOYAAAA, Houston is cursed for football.

    You're right... After all, They only won 2 AFL Championships, Went to the playoffs 15 times, and have 7 players in the Hall of Fame..

    The 1987-1993 era was probably the best era in franchise history. 7 straight trips to the playoffs.

    I love this team and everything we have accomplished since moving to TN. We have had great success with odds stacked against us. I do my share of qq'ing, but I wouldn't be as happy or proud if I was a fan of any other team.

    Having followed the Oilers/Titans since the beginning of time, the answer of their success depends on your interpretation of what success is. Yes we have won many more games than we lost. Yes we have made more playoff appearance than most teams. But understand this. We are the Titans. Anything less than a championship is good but mediocre. We have been tabbed a couple of time as the best team in the AFC only to choke in the playoffs. Year after year fans are left only with a wait till next year. So yes we have seen success over the last 50 + years but we have yet to reach the ultimate in success, a championship. (The first 2 AFL championships don’t count as the AFL was subpar in the beginning)

    I feel like overall we've had it pretty good from '99 up until now in regards to this team since they became the Titans.I know i'm not the only one but the team before '99 was not my favorite team and they weren't until they had a new home here plus a new name.Don't get me wrong i was a huge Warren Moon fan and i enjoyed watching the run and shoot version of this squad but i've always wanted our own team here in Memphis but since that did not happened we still got one here in our home state.I think we got spoiled very quickly by the 99-03 era squad because they were a tough team that didn't lose much.Even afterwards we've had a few winning seasons and a couple playoff trips including the best record in 2008.So far its been pretty good.If you put our record against other teams the past dozen years we would be in the top ten or close to it.
