You crazy for the RG3 comment. He's smarter than VY and Cam put together... and throws better than both of them combined.

I don't think Locker has prototypical size. He looks really short out there. He's pretty stocky looking for a QB too.

only looks short because of how thick he is. He's taller than Rodgers and Brees and they're doing fine

I thought the same, looks like Brees sort of height. So I checked his combine measurables thinking maybe he was 6'3 in the college brochure and 5'11 in real life. However:

    Height:6'3"
    Weight:231 lbs.

That looks pretty prototypical to me. I suppose most guys look small stood to next to Roos and Stewart.

Three different players with all different styles. A lot depends on who drafts Luck and RG3 and what system they try and implement with them ; plus , what development strategy they intend. Cam going in at the deep end worked but thats not to say it suits every college prospect.

The smart answer is ask down the line when the dust has settled but my money is on Locker at the moment ( although I am no homer and I opposed the Locker pick originally ) , as I have a gut feeling that Luck may find the NFL tougher than he thinks and RG3 won't find a landing spot that can best utilise his strengths.

Luck will absolutely get tricked by being a rookie and thinking he's so good, but he can make the throws, he can find the holes. He's going to have a good career if his team allows him to.

I feel like he could end up looking similar to Bradford if he lands on a crappy team with no direction.

Look I love Locker and I loved the pick but holy crap the homerism in this thread.

RG3 without a doubt. If you take your eyes off the ESPN hype machine of Luck for a second and look at what RG3 has done you'll realize he's been doing this since last season but because he played at Baylor he didn't get any attention. I remember watching his first game of the season against TCU and thinking this guy is going to be a great one. He has the size, the arm, the athletic ability, crazy speed with he hardly ever uses, smart, and he's clutch. He has the arm and speed of Vick and the ability to win games late like VY. He'll be the best QB out of this draft class, watch.

People are trying to over complicate this question so they can pick Locker so just watch the film...

Given that I haven't seen Luck or RGIII go up against a real defense, for now I'll say Locker since he impressed me in the impossible situations he kept winding up in. Not bad for a rookie to almost bring you back from a 21 point deficit in Atlanta and keep us in the game against the Saints.
