Ideally, we move Harris back to C, Amano to play all-time interior backup (while he's not the best, he already knows 2 of the three positions. bench him, teach him RG and let him be our IL backup on gameday), Velasco at LG, and either draftee or, if cheap, Jake Scott at RG.

I'm not entirely sold Jake Scott is part of our problems. I think Amano DEFINITELY is and Harris MIGHT be. But Scott has to play beside and make up for an AWFUL Amano.

Harris was a beast at C filling in for Mawae. Let him go back there before we fully bench him for any reason.

not sure if someone put this PFT post somewhere but in my opinion he (nicks) should be #1 on our priority list. Get him and then you could "hide" Amano at the other guard spot and draft a center or go after one in FA...we have a good amount of money to spend this offseason with Hope's albatross of a contract coming off the books...

I'm sure they can finagle the books in certain ways, plus we won't be keeping hasselbeck past this season i don't think and we're currently paying him a good chunk of change.

Nate was hurt for most of the season...it's a reason he emerged as a leader on the team cause he played though the injuries. He definitely wasn't acting. Weren't you watching any of the games and listening to how great an effort he was giving despite the injuries he played through??

I would like to give Bruce Matthews a chance to get players he likes this year. The line he built in Houston blocked pretty darn good for A.Foster last year and this year. Hopefully he can build a line like that here.

It's 100% Munchak's fault. He said this group was good enough to win a Super Bowl. They were his guys.

One of my reasons was; "Was it the lack of a full training camp?" But I look around the NFL and other O-lines that had the same amount of time to prepare as the Titans did. They seem to be doing alright. I'm thinking that the "lack of a training camp" is getting tired as an excuse.

I watched all of the games and I felt like they needed an ambulance to come get him off the field after every catch.

A new OC could play into this as well.
I can't figure out how they can protect the QB as good as they have but suck so bad at opening holes or staying on their blocks.
Maybe we need bigger bodies on the line.
And we need to find Amano a new job....outside of football.
