Eli is an elite QB

    I agree. I'd say he's the 5th best active QB playing though.

    Brady, Brees, and Rogers.....

    I don't know who you would place at 4 that has rings and just as much success.

    Well, Big Ben, but I think they could be 4/5 either way. I don't think they could replicate their success if you swapped teams though.

    When you compare him to the elite QB's in the league (Brady, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers) his numbers aren't even close. That makes him not an elite QB. Roethlisberger (8 seasons) and Romo (6 season) have had 5 seasons with a higher passer rating than Eli's highest. Half of Rivers' 6 seasons were better than Eli's best. Brady, Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers are a lot better. Roethlisberger, Romo, and Rivers are better. At best, Eli is the 8th best QB in the league. Schaub is probably better. Stafford and Ryan might be better and if Cutler had receivers then he would probably be better. Eli is as good as Hasselbeck, but has benefited from better receivers and a better defense.

    Eli will probably be in the Hall of Fame for being the Super Bowl MVP twice, but there are at least 7 better QBs in the league. That makes him not an elite quarterback.

    Eli is a very good QB, but I'm not ready to call him a Hall of Famer just yet...

    What other QB in this league has won two Super Bowls in the last 4 years?

    Saying that Cutler, Schaub, Ryan, and Stafford are better just disqualified you from debating Eli's elite status. You're an Eli hater. It's alright. I once was too, but he always seems to prove me wrong.

    Okay well Eli has a better career QB rating than John Elway and Terry Bradshaw.

    And we're talking about RIGHT NOW. You simply cannot argue that Hasselbeck is better than Eli RIGHT NOW.

    I still count Peyton Manning lol. I know Eli is younger and already has more rings, but I think Peyton is a better QB skills wise.
