Saying I said Cutler, Schaub, Ryan, and Stafford are better when I didn't just disqualified you from debating Eli's elite status.

Using that logic Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino. QBs don't win Super Bowls, teams win Super Bowls. Eli has been on a better team than most, if not all, other QBs over the last 4 years.

You clearly hinted that you think those QBs are better... because you're whole argument is that Eli is not elite. So do you think he's better than those guys? If so, you concede that he's an elite QB.

Trent Dilfer played for the best defense to ever take the field. Totally different. He also didn't win an MVP. Eli has won two MVPs. He won those Super Bowls. Dilfer just handed the ball off and threw 2 yard passes.

So if Trent Dilfer won another SB, he would be a HoF?

Okay, maybe he didn't win MVP of the game, but we all know MVP can be anyone..

Push come to shove, Eli did good, but he didn't do great to win it all himself.

    lol all these haters!

Eli Manning is officially an "Elite" QB ... HOF? Its boarderline I think you could safely say. He was pretty mediocre, middle of the pack QB during the beginning of his career. Even if he doesnt win another one but has 2 more real solid seasons and leads them to the playoffs again I think he will be in the discussion of HOF.

Maybe his last name alone will be good enough to get "BOTH" brothers in.

Eli ONLY QB to beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl and most likely ONLY QB to EVER do such a feat.

I think Coach Coughlin is more of a lock right now as HOF if you had to chose between Coughlin and Manning ... but man Manning is right on the boarderline ... HATERS GUNNA HATE.

Wow... To even insinuate that Dilfer could've easily won the MVP or act like if he won another Super Bowl he'd be in the HoF is absurd.

The dude sucked so bad that the Ravens didn't even bring him back the following season. This is just a terrible example. Quit bringing up Dilfer. The dude sucks. Plain and simple.

He's the only QB to beat Brady in the Super Bowl... period.

My point was he's in the same class as them. Even if he's better than all 4 of them, that still makes him the 8th best QB in the NFL. There are 4 elite QBs: Brady, Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers. Even if you think he's better than Roethlisberger, Romo, and Rivers, the huge difference between Brady, Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers makes Eli not an elite QB.

Eli only won the Super Bowl MVP twice because you can't give it to the entire defense, so he won by default. In both of the Super Bowls the Giants offense scored less than 20 points. 9 times out of 10 that doesn't beat the Patriots. Why did it beat the Pats in both Super Bowls? Defense.

Yes, it was Eli that held the Pats to under 20 points in 2 different Super Bowls.
