The WR core is fine for the time being. If we are going to pay any free agent big money it needs to be someone to help the offensive or defensive line out.

Drafting a player may turn out to be pointless as well. What happens if we draft a WR in the 1st then britt comes back healthy & Washington continues to produce??? Then we spent a 1st round pick on a slot WR.

Guard, Center, Defensive end, defensive tackle, and Free safety are all more pressing Needs IMO. We shouldn't think about WR until those needs are met.

Just give CJ number #17 and you have a poor man's Wallace.

Although Id love it to happen, we have many issues far more pressing then our WR corps. That's actually one of our stronger areas. Plus, no way Pitt lets him walk.

Given the right contract, theres not a lot they can do. if the pursuing team reeeeaally wants him, giving him a heavily front loaded contract/bonus... The steelers are screwed.... *goes into little kid spaz out hoping they lose him* :brow:

What's your take on Hawkins? He's been here for like 4 years now and outside a couple games last year he hasn't really done anything.
