30m under the cap, shoot these are the guys I'd want.

    Finny
    Carl Nicks
    Dashon Goldson

We have the money now make it so! We as fans demand a good on the field product.

We have to sign more than three players with the 30m

Yup, most who whom are backup players and are very minor hits to the salary cap. Hell with Finny and Nicks we could front load their contracts with a signing bonus. Please there are ways to get around this. Just more excuses why Bud won't spend the money required to become a winner. 30 million under the cap and we can't add three good players pleeeeeese?

Oh and Griff should get the franchise tag.

    Goldson's gonna get franchised

I want Scott Wells, Mario or Mathis (I just don't want to overspend on Mario), Tyvon Branch

those three would certainly make a dent in our 30M

I'm not so sure he will but you're probably right. They just signed Brooks to a big deal and either he or Carlos Rodgers will get the tag. It'll be interesting to see if Brees gets the tag because if he does there is no way they can afford Nicks. But we sure as hell can. :)

We have quite a few spots to fill. Both safety positions, a corner(NB or outside), four defensive ends, a guard, a fullback. All of those guys will see significant playing time. Never mind the depth guys we need to sign like special teams players and rookies.

I said it in a different thread, that $30 million looks like a lot, but when you look at how many holes we have in the roster with guys who are unsigned it shrinks significantly. Take into account that if we tag Griffin it will take $6.2 million, which would be over 1/5 of the available cap room for 2012.

Mario Williams has got to be the #1 target is the price does not get TOO high. If not mario then I think we split the money between a FA center (Scott Wells) and the best defensive lineman we can get (not sure who that is after mario)

rebuilding the DL & OL have got to be top priorities this offseason, Even if we lose finny.

on another note I dont think we really have a full 30mill to spend. We are going to want to stay a few mill under the salary cap and rookies are going to have to be paid too. I think when it is all factored in we will probably have around 18mill to spend in free agency.

not as much as everybody thinks

We'll see. After the Titans sign their usual journeymen/marginal players and still are 15m under the cap when the season starts, get back to me. :)
