Potential Free Agent Targets

Yes will we want to stay a few mil under the cap but from what I heard, we have a separate budget for rookies. So we actually do have 30 mil to spend (not taking into account wanting to stay a few mil under -- but we should defs spend about 25 on FA)

 

I don't want to be just fine, I want to be better... a lot better. That does require some spending sorry.

 

yea i agree with you. I Figure the titans will get a few good 2nd tier free agents (Mathis, Hardwick, etc) But i do not see a Mario Williams/Carl Nicks in our future. If I was the GM i would definitely be heavily recruiting them with all of that cap room.......... But im not the GM........:sad2:

We have 2 DE's on our roster right now and only activate a total of 4, so we don't need to sign 4 DE's. We also have Quinn Johnson on the payroll, so there's your FB.

Wrong. We do have $30M to shop with. Rookie's money is separate from that $30M. Realistically we have close to $35M including the budget it takes to sign 7-8 rookies.

 

and if we need more money we could easily have Roos and Stewart rework their contracts which would probably give us 4-5mil more.

 

How about some good players at those positions?

Quinn Johnson was garbage in his time on the field.

The DEs we have signed on for 2012 are Derrick Morgan, Keyunta Dawson, Pannel Egboh and Malcolm Sheppard. Championship!

 

Don't sleep on Pannel Egboh. I was a little surprised he didn't make the roster last year.
