I can't imagine Manning willing to accept that.
it wouldn't say anything about his desire to put the team in its best position to compete. that'll hurt him down the road, when he becomes part owner

I honestly think we are going to sign him 100% sure. The offensive line changes, well the F/A's that we are pursuing dictate this. There is no way Manning is going to sign with the Broncos, Tebow was sacked 33 times last year. Hass was sacked 19 times. Im sure Peyton wants the best line possible to avoid taking big hits. Any team that signs Peyton, would need to take this drastic measure.

I think it's debatable if the Titans were actually in the running for Mario Williams, but I would have rather the front office go after him full force instead of Manning and I've been a fan of his since his days at UT.

While Hasselbeck is serviceable, He's nothing more than a slightly less poor mans Kerry Collins, so I'm ready to see Locker take over and become the next Aaron Rodgers.

Unfortunately, we missed out on Mario.

At first I voted no on the other thread about getting peyton, but with everything that's been going on in the last day or two, I'm getting slightly persuaded to yes and hopping on the wagon.

Someone please slap me and make sure if I'm thinking right. Anyone else changing their minds thinking that this might be a good idea?

The thing about Rodgers is that he sat behind a HoF QB for 3 years while the coaching staff completely rebuild his foot work and throwing mechanics. Locker had some of the same issues in college and getting Manning let's us rebuild him like the Packers did with Rodgers.

And we don't need Mario if we get Peyton. If we get Manning and then fix our OL (which appears to be our plan) then we can go strictly defense in the draft. I'd expect DE/DT/DE in the first 3 rounds.

I hated it at first but now I'm okay with it. I hate Manning but winning a Super Bowl would be pretty boss.

Adam Schefter just made it sound like Tennessee is the favorite for Manning on Sportscenter.

I would be so excited if this thing happens. This would be great for the Titans, and great for the whole State. The Titans would finally get some love statewide, I think.

Best move in Adams tenure here if it goes through, just for the PR. there will be thousands upon thousands of Manning jerseys sold the first day if he signs.
