surprised Hutchinson didn't sign today...Figured we would get a deal done with him before the meeting with Peyton as part of the recruiting pitch..

I think the FO are getting spoiled with the investment they have put in the secondary. I really don't see us paying top money for a CB or S in the next years to come.

I guess it's a good thing, spend more money on something else.

 

Carl Nicks with Tampa

 

Just ONE year in my lifetime...I would like to see the Titans make some major moves in the off season. Seems like every off season...every other team is doing something. While the titans consistently sit back and look for bargains. Now dont get me wrong..i'm not asking for them to be illogical when it comes to these FAs, but here n there sometimes u gotta put yourself out there to get a stud or 2.

 

Especially the offensive line studs this year, that position is much easier to plug and fill.

Carlos Rogers just turned us down

and Hutchinson looks to go to us

this has been pretty active so far. its also a very big free agent class as well.

Tampa Bay reached agreement with former Saints guard Carl Nicks on a five-year, $47.5 million deal including $31 million guaranteed.

 

The two pick ups they made..combined with their early pick in the draft where they'll probably pick up a DB..they're doing pretty good this off season.

 

I would have put money on Finny going to Tampa.....guess not.

Oh well, I bet honey badger goes to Tampa, and I bet he don't care.
