    All I know is that Reinfeldt and Munchak must have the patience of Job given how this has evolved relative to the plan I am sure they had in place leading up to the "Go Get Me Manning" turn of events.

    If we have to sign Manning to a 5 year deal then we back out. Now.

    It should be 3 years, absolute max. The guy is 36 for christ's sake.

    Also, what sort of effect will his enormous guaranteed money have on the cap? Will it end up being a repeat of 01-04 where we overpaid everyone and then had to purge for 3 years.
