    I'd love this pickup.

Not saying we should switch to the 3-4; but it would be possible.

    ---------Klug --- Casey --- Morgan--------
    Ayers -- McCarthy -- Spoon --- Wimbley

Then we'd have the draft to fill-in for depth. Now, I know we're not going to make the change but we could.

As for Wimbley in a 43 DE scheme; he could make it work. Yes he's roughly ~260, but watch highlights of the guy... he's plays much bigger. He's a solid pass rusher, and good at run stopping as well. If we intend to do more of a 43 hybrid, Wimbley and Ayers off the end would be awesome.

My guess, is Wimbley to the Jets though.

Jets already said he was too rich for their blood. It was an ESPN article source the day he was released.

He doesn't deserve anything more than what Jeremy Mincey got from the Jaguars. Wimbley isn't a 10+ sack guy year-in and year-out. He's an upgrade over what we have, but at this point what isn't?

Wouldn't mind having him but sounds like he's too expensive and would be a better fit in a 3-4

Yea, sounds like he'd be too expensive and a real project as a 4-3 DE.

I agree if we were going to make the switch to a 3-4 Wimbley would be a higher priority but Klug simply doesn't fit at all as a 3-4 DE. Morgan maybe. IMO we would need another DT/DE in that set.

could Kam play WLB? He's got 4.6 speed, maybe a possibility. Otherwise, he's a pretty good pass rusher, size is about right for Gray's D

Dave Tollefson is who I want and maybe Gilberry then draft another DE high.

Antonio Garay would be nice too so we could cut Smith and watch the rookie we draft beat out Marks.

Wimbley is a good player, he just isnt that player to be a impact by himself. He needs others around him to help him out. In cleveland, he didnt really have anybody and thats why he struggled. In Oakland, he had Seymour, Houston in front of him to eat the oline. Here i wouldnt say hed flourish like he did in Oakland but he wouldnt struggle as bad like he did with the Browns. Morgan now has a chance to come back stronger too, a ACL injury is normally two yrs and its been just that for him. Klug and Casey in the middle can get a pass rush, they are two great steals in the draft. We just need another DE, who could at least create some pressure. Wimbley could do just that im down for bringing him in if its not a big cap signing.

Let's hope that Morgan plays like a 1st rounder this year. He must step up.
