You guys are being ignorant. There was ONE good defensive end available, and the Bills never let him leave Buffalo. You're really upset we didn't give a boatload of money to a 34 year old edge rusher in Abraham? Carter, Wimbley, and Anderson are all guys who may be able to help us, but if we want to fix the position it has to be through the draft.

A three-year $21 million deal is not a boatload of money for a guy who has the ability to be a 10+ sack per year guy.

Anderson in addition to those 10 sacks had another 2.5 in the Patriots playoff run..so maybe he's finally turned the corner? I think he'd be a great addition. Certainly couldn't hurt

As long as we don't overpay, I'm all for it. At this point, we just need bodies at DE 'cause we'll definitely be drafting at least 2.

Big fan of Anderson, he's a rotational guy. Liked him early on in Chicago and he did well with NE last year. We need DE's on the roster so anyone sounds good at this point.

Most of the time, if a guy winds up signing a multi-year deal with the team he already played for, he probably was never going to leave anyway. He just wanted to hear a couple offers before going back home.

I think Anderson benefited greatly from Wilfork last season but he is a solid rotation guy.

He was a 3-4 OLB like Wimbley we need a 4-3 DE???

Dave Tollefson(younger Dave Ball with upside) and Wallace Gillberry even though he played 3-4 DE he is a bit undersized for that role and put up 7 sacks.

We have a rush LB in Ayers we need people to put their hand in the dirt and we need to do it now.

I saw no evidence last year that Ayers had any pass rush ability whatsoever. Hope he proves me wrong but he did not show it last year.

I think the best case now is to sign a veteran, character, leadership guy to a reasonable deal and draft a few young guys with potential
