He is back reporting... and if we cant get Peyton we pretty much set back a year.
We had big plans before Bud Adams forced a Peyton chase.:(

Yeah, then he will blame the coaches for not getting into the playoffs, if they fail. But then, isn't that what we all do, regardless of how little talent they now have to choose from?

    Please.

    What did we do?

Miss out on Mario Williams? Abraham?

In that case, Peyton Manning bombing may be a blessing, anyway.

My fingers are crossed... I hope this is true. It's time to give Jake Locker a chance.

The only guy the Titans missed who they appear to have wanted is Wells. They were not going to pay Mario anything close to what the Bills paid and I'm glad they didn't.

I think we'll see a lot of DEs visiting over the next few days regardless of how the Manning thing works out.

You hope what's true? He didn't report anything!! He said what we've all known that chasing Peyton and not getting him would cause us to miss out on top free agents. You're just getting a stiffy thinkin that PM won't be here

This is surprising.. coming from Jim Wyatt. Peyton Manning has "never denied" that he's already chosen the 49ers, so I wonder why he's reporting otherwise?

While I agree 100%, I'm not sure we might look back in 5 years and say "not getting Manning was a blessing. Locker has really come of age as the starter and free agents we were able to sign the following year with the cap money we had left over had a huge impact." I still would love to see Manning as a Titans, but I like Locker and think we will still be ok down the line even if we suffer a set back.

It would suck if we were set back a year bc of chasing manning. But actually signing him would set us back even more. Cut our losses and move on

I'll be so happy if Manning signs here. Not because we get a HOF QB but because that means Erick is leaving forever
