Leroy played admirably in the playoff game against the Ravens when Mawae was injured.

We honestly need another Mawae, a smart/nasty/veteran center to command control of the O Line.

Just saw this mock draft on walterfootball and thought it was really good, would like to see an OL pick earlier though.

    1. Nick Perry, DE
    2. Jayron Hosley, CB
    3. Nick Toon, WR
    4. Lucas Nix, G
    5. Travis Lewis, OLB

Barring any crazy picks (which im sure they'll be) I'm sure we'll get either Nick Perry or Whitney Mercilus. I can't speak on either because I haven't had the chance to watch a lot of their play...but they both seem to be the consensus for our pick at 20

I agree that we'll probably go DB with the #2 pick..but I think we may have the chance to get a higher rated player on the board

Yeah looks like DL is a lock for the 1st pick, I'm really hoping Perry. I also really like Hosley, so this is one of my favorite mock's so far.

Pretty sure we should go after Tyler Palko.

Okay deleted my last post I got a little carried away with everyone I wanted but this is something I would like...

    Signings:
    Wimbley-check
    Koppen or Jackson or Saturday
    Tracy Porter
    Jamaal Anderson
    fillers

Obviously we need a starting Center and one of those 3 would be fine for a year or two. I like McCourty and Verner but I don't really trust them for a whole season especially with no experience at the position. In this pass happy league we're in having 3 good CBs is a must, a 3 year deal would be nice. I know we got Wimbley and yes we'll be drafting DE early but we don't know how Morgan will perform and you never know what you're going to get from a rookie. Wimbley, Morgan, rookie, Anderson is a good group. Fillers, ehh.

    Draft
1st: Whitney Mercilus- DE is the big need and I'm warming up to this guy even more. Perry will probably be gone by the time it's our pick, I don't think this guy is a one year wonder.

2nd: Brandon Thompson, DT- Popular pick on this board, kind of a no brainer if he's available.

3rd: Michael Brewster, C- Future starter in a couple years. Let Locker have a veteran for a couple years and then enter Brewster. Much better plan than throwing a rookie in there right from the start.

4th: Joe Adams, WR- Another weapon on offense. Questions all over for the group of WRs we have. Britt's injury concerns, Nate's level of production, growth of D-Will and Hawkins, and Mariani as a WR.

5th: Vontaze Burficit, LB- If he can get his crap under control we can move McCarthy to OLB. This guy definitely has the talent and with a 5th round pick it's a low risk high reward move. Unless you just totally believe in not bringing in anyone with concerns it's hard to hate this pick.

6th: Chris Rainey, RB- Just another weapon for Locker in the future. He's a Sproles clone, that's always good to have. We don't know what we have with Harper and with the up and down play of CJ it would be wise to have another guy at the position.

7th: Brandon Taylor, S- Just some depth, was pretty good at LSU. He could make a push for playing time.

I probably should've had another OL pick or move Safety up a bit but we do need some more offensive weapons. Even though on paper it's pretty good we really don't know how we'll be in a year or 2 and with Locker he's going to need some weapons to help him out. I think we go Safety very early next season, looking at you Lester.

I really want Brandon Thompson and would even be down for trading up to get him. He's that game changer we so desperately need.
