We need to take the best football player available regardless of position. We need a guy that has proven to be productive and is a leader on the field. Be it decastro, upshaw, Floyd, or Hightower. Don't reach for need. Get the solid player

Still say we go defensive end at 20. I think it will be either Upshaw or Whitney. If DeCastro some how makes it there, I think we take him, but my hope is still for a 1st round DE.

 

#1 I like G Decastro. #2 Then DE Perry and Ingram. None of those may be there. DT Poe will be long gone. I like Fletcher Cox as well at DT. Perry, Ingram and Cox all have amazing 10 yd split times.

 

DeCastro is a beast but Munchak has said the Titans won't take an o-lineman in the 1st round. Even if he's there, we won't pick him.

 

Our team of scouts and coaches are too smart to take a player based on need if they don't believe they're a solid player.

 

I think we go defensive end, lots of good points made, but it is our biggest need, a very high chance a good one will be there, and outside of safety, and Oline, we really do not have any glaring needs.

I would hate to take a linebacker or corner when we really do not need one. Yea Spoon will need to be replaced soon, but still not an urgent need in my opinion.

Don't reach for a need, but don't draft a player just because he is the best and he does not fill a need. Trade down, plenty of teams would move to 20 to jump on a pass rusher that will probably be there.
