Chris Palmer??

Guys like Cook, Hawkins, Washington and Williams all took a step forward and people hate on Chris Palmer.

I love it.

 

That play basically hasn't worked for them since the Edge.

Eli's been very complimentary of Palmer in everything I've read about them.

 

I can tell you it wasn't bad play calling that hurt our team. Yes there was a game maybe two that the play calling was lame. But our problem on offense was execution. That right there buys the guy a year.

As for that play where C.J. goes out wide, we ran that well over 10 times. How many times do you think you can send C.J. out as a receiver? His hands are made of stone.

 

I don't understand the hate for Palmer at all. Everyone keeps bringing up the same plays and situations every time this is discussed but what OC is perfect? Or DC, or HC, or anything that ends in a C.

New QB in a new system, CJ was off, OL sucked against the run, Britt went down, and even with this some players stepped up and our offense was pretty good. Give him a full off-season before you want him out the door.

 

This is the one downside of PM not coming here....if he did, Palmer would have been in the revolving door going out IMO.

That said, PM knew this, so it was likely not even a part of his decision.

 

I give the guy a year to get guys who fit the offense and what he is trying to do.We are looking at young wr's and rb's by all indications.

Players seem to love Palmer and I'm sure there's a reason..

 

What indications are you talking about?

 

My dislike for him came from a few of the fans who are season ticket holders, describing what they considered a cluster something on the sidelines when we were on offense. I saw Hass look frustrated a couple of times, but things like that cannot be seen on TV.
