I'm willing to reserve judgement on Palmer for now. He was stuck with WR's and TE's that ran the wrong routes repeatedly, lost his best (BY FAR No disrespect to Nate) WR for the season, and had Amano and Scott getting blown up on half the snaps and Harris committing WAY too many penalties for our offense do be worth much imo.

Go to titansreport.com,click on DRAFT, then click Titan scouts at pro days. We are looking at late round developers at skill positions. Doesnt mean we will draft any

It's hard to say for sure that that issue was palmers fault. It could have been reasoning behind wrs reading the wrong thing and causing some of those really off looking throws that were normal last season.

I'm gonna guess you know that this offense is based on reads and not set routes. So it's easy to say hass was frustrated because he reads one thing, the wrs read differently and boom off goes a dumb looking throw to absolutely no one and maybe to the other team.

Actually, my Hass reference was from seeing him waiting for plays in the huddle....but, with PM not here, we will get to see if Palmer progresses next season as well. I am willing to keep an open mind at this point.

Palmer was better than I thought he would be. Not saying much.

His biggest task, however, is how #10 turns out. Which remains to be seen.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the offense looks like after the coaches have an entire offseason to work with the team. I'm going to hold judgement on Palmer until we've seen the offense after a full offseason with CJ in camp.

44 seconds left? No Timeouts? Down by 6?

    Um...

Living in New Yrok, we heard just the opposite that Eli actually liked Palmer and would have likely endorsed him to Peyton. In addition, Palmer is a guy who alters the offense to suit the talent and would have had no problem installing Peyton's offense. I think that had no negative effect on Manning not coming.

Hard to know how good he is even after one season since we got a new QB and a new OC with no off-season to install an offense so it was a lot of using the old playbook and trying to tweak it. Plus, he was told that we have a very good OL and a strong run game and neither were there last year - so much so that we are finally trying to upgrade the interior!!! Let's see how he does with a full off-season to install his offense with a solid OL (or better) and Hasselbeck and Locker with an off-seaso to learn and practice.

There was also a rumour that during the first meeting Palmer and that were talking about adjusting the playbook for him.

we run the stretch play too often. we lose 3 to 4 yards almost every time we run it so i want it thrown out of our playbook until our line is completely fixed
