I completely disagree. At least Vince has a strong arm.

there are groundhogs that can knock down 'the Divas' passes. Im just saying he throws underhanded is all. I mean he basically bowls the ball.

It's funny how the NFL works. Watch VY's games and look at his stats. He has played well overall. The last time he took over the starting position when the Titans were 0-6, he played real good from there on out. His game play was never the problem. He had bad games, but he had a lot more good games. I always liked watching VY play and I'll always be a fan because of that.

He can bowl it with more velocity than Colt McCoy or Matt Moore. I'll promise you that.

Same here. And me being from Texas has nothing to do with my being a fan of his.

He isn't strong enough mentally and emotionally to be even a decent player. I've taught enough like him to know. They can't learn and so get so frustrated that they do one of two things-lash out in anger or cry. Vince cries. He likely could not learn the playbook, so he got frustrated and so did what he did. And Fisher was not like Elway. He wouldn't change the playbook for him. I understand that Tebow is not the sharpest tool in the shed either. I look for him to basically disappear in Jersey.

I'm assuming you are a teacher. Then you should understand the concept of "progression". Put on tape of his rookie year and compare it to his final season with the Titans. Note the drastic contrast of throwing mechanics and making the necessary progression in reads.

Also make note of the lack of "teaching" tools in his rookie and sophomore seasons.

FYI, it takes years to fully understand a playbook. Then again, what if the playbook was actually too simple? Couldn't be.... you would have to be conservative......oh ok.:cool:

idn where this convo started, but i c where its going. and i agree with biggums

i looked at an older post b/c i know i commented about this a ga-zillion times...

i too agree that the guy coulda become something in this league if things were a bit different...

i'm not saying he didnt need an attitude check but fisher also was mistaken in the way Young was handled.

Ok, then you tell me why he failed so miserably. Fisher wanted him to play a certain way and he either could not or would not. He may have progressed, but evidently there were things concerning his development that we were never privy to that hastened his departure. I feel bad for him, but we have to admit that something is amiss with him or he would have had a job by now. As for him having no teaching tools, what teaching tools are you referring to?
