"i'm not saying he didnt need an attitude check but fisher also was mistaken in the way Young was handled."

We can say Fisher didn't handle him properly. But do we really know what all Fisher did to help him? Are we saying that for four long years, Fisher was so stubborn as to lose games rather than keep helping Vince to progress? I can't believe that. What I think happened is that Fisher wanted him to be a student of the game, watcing film, staying late, learning his craft. And that was not what Vince wanted to do. So Vince is where he is today because of what HE chose to do, not what any coach did.

I'll say this. It was obvious that many of the Titans players were very put off by the way Fisher dealt with Young. The same Fisher that was always loved and respected by his players otherwise. Young was undoubtedly responsible for a lot of his problems in Tennessee though. I just feel like they both acted like children in terms of dealing with each other. I often defended Young while he was a Titan due to the fact that he was clearly the best QB we had and our coach wanted to play KFC instead. Winning comes ahead of personal issues with players! That said, Fisher likely was trying to get the team to go in a different direction for a few offseasons (which is exactly how it should have been dealt with) and was denied by the owner. I understood the frustrations of both Fisher and Young in terms of their relationship as coach and QB. After the way it was handled by both of them in 2010, the Titans did the right thing by sending them both packing imo. VY was never as horrible as some people made him out to be, but at the same time, he could have been a franchise QB with more effort as far as preparation goes. He can't blame Fisher for that. I think Bud Adams felt that Fisher would handle having VY forced on him like a professional, and to be honest, he didn't always do that imo. I'm just glad they're both gone and hold no harsh feeling toward either now.

The Knoxville Nighthawks are 0-1 and could use some quarterback help. I think VY could be our guy.

VY on Dan Lebatard Is Highly Questionable and he actually somewhat manned up about not handling his business the way he should in Tennessee.

Well, I was happy with VY when he was drafted, but after watching everything unfold, it is hard. VY could have handled the situation different, but remember, the stupid playcalling we had when Norm Chow was here, really sucked. Norm wanted Leinart here, and Fish was looking at Cutler. When we got VY, I think Fish already had it in for him. What I don't understand, is when we played the Redskins, and Randy Moss was in there, we had no passing game at all. Everything was run, run, run. Then VY stepped out. First play with Rusty at qb, what play is called. A deep pass to Moss. He caught it, but was called for pushing off. I could not understand why Rusty was allowed to pass being backup and not letting VY do his thing. It was as if he was being set up for disaster. I didn't like our Offense when we had Chow here.

Why won't these threads die? I'd rather watch a 4 hour documentary on the Holocaust than remember that VY was our QB for so long.

Amy, I don't see how you can say that VY and Tebow are not very intelligent. You seem like you really like to give people a hard time. I had a few teachers like you in school.

A good coach would change his playbook and style of offense to fit his QB. If the Broncos leave their playbook and offense the same as it was with Tebow, is Peyton stupid if he can't perform at a high level under those conditions? Of course, that won't happen. A good coach will put his QB in position to succeed.
