I was a grapefruit league bat boy for the Expos/Braves one spring back in 77 or 78 in West Palm Beach. You had access to all the MLB stars. I got programs, BB cards and balls personally autographed by EVERY star of the day - Johnny Bench, PR, Yaz, Brett, Joe Morgan, Jim Rice, Hank Aaron, Reggie Jackson.. I mean everybody.

A few years later my mom decided to "take out the trash".

    It's still an issue today.

I know David Thorton because my best friend/ boss went to UNC with him. I got family section tickets for about 20 home games over DT's time in TN. Also went to the playoff game in San Diego and Baltimore. Thorton is real cool and soft spoken. Met guys like VY, Big AL, KB, Finny, Griff, Curran, Pac Man (he was an A hole.) We would go to Outback with them after the games a lot. Big Al was the biggest person I have ever met in my life and he was super nice. I sat behind Finny's mom a lot at the games, chill l;ady that was kind of fiesty like finny lol. Worst person ever award goes to Lendale Whites dad. He whined and B*Tched while White was on the bench, like he truly beleived WHite was better than Cj.

My son was p/u at college M/C by Albert Haynesworth,Samari Rolle, and a former all american in college (he and Samari good friends) and they hung out in Knoxville all night, (even went by A.H. girl or ex girls house). Anyways, A.H. paid for everything.

I didn't think LenDale had a dad. Always hear about him being raised by his grandma and his uncle and have seen his mom, but don't think I've heard anything about his dad.

i know 2 guys who played in the NFL but they haven't been in the league in nearly 8 years. They were both practice squad guys with one having one season where he actually saw the field in 2004ish

Given some of the comments I've made over the past few weeks, this will be a huge surprise to everyone on this board... I met Peyton Manning back in 1996-1997ish when my family and I lived in Tennessee and I have a signed autograph picture of him in his sherbert orange UTjr uniform. I've been thinking about selling it for a long time now... Its just sitting my storage unit collecting dust. Im thinking that I need to sell it before he tarnishes his image and value of it goes down. I figure if I run into a UTjr homer that is hell bent on having that kinda stuff, I'll let it go for the right price... Im kind of ashamed to admit I have such a piece of garbage, but atleast its not in my house
