Give me a break with the generic fan knows more about football players than the guys who are paid to know.

I really wish there was a database of who wanted who in each draft and see how bad you guys really are in judging talent. I guarantee you that no one will remember they wanted guys we didn't get in this draft 4 years down that track when 85% of them are no good.

No pick is worse than Chris Henry. At least Brown was projected as a first rounder at some point.

Well, our first and 2nd round picks were made like our FO is full of monkeys.

Seriously- no way can you spin this to be a good pick.

This is worse than the Ayers pick- and that one is still a very bad pick.

2 of our 3 LBs will be bad tacklers. This spells disaster.

Zach Brown is a good player and will contribute to this team for a long time. I like the pick.

I love the "it sucks" from the fickle fans that hop on board of anything the team does.

I'll be right again. Bank on it. Ayers almost had me doubting myself at the start of the season- then he went completely invisible as expected.

Ayers wasn't even that bad in his rookie year...

you STILL think Cam Newton is terrible, you're opinion holds no value.

I know less than our scouts. I also have less experience than the majority of the popular sports pundits.

What I do know is that there are frequent posters here who respond to any criticism of the organization by discrediting the critic whether it be an average Joe poster or a national sports pundit. And thre are plenty of those that don't like this pick..

I'd rather hear somebody just state they disagree and why rather than blindly state "he must be good because we picked him........". If the FO were infallible, we'd have multiple championships.

These are the same guys who thought Michael Roos was a bad pick.

People aren't saying they think he is good, people are saying, 'yo chill, he's a rookie, he's got talent, they must have seen something in him to like, let's see how it plays out'.

Just because you post constantly does not make you a bigger fan or correct with judgement. It means you need to find something else to do. The one thing in my opinion that Brown will be able to do is cover. He ran a 4.37 at his pro day. That is fast. One thing you can't teach is speed, you can teach fundamentals. I really don't understand this pick but our front office deserves the respect from us after last years draft. How many of you were jumping for joy with Klug in the mid rounds? I will trust the 15 grown men who get paid to watch 14 hours of tape and make visits and talk to each of these players. Just because they did not pick anyone from teams we watch every Saturday or the "ESPN" guys does not mean a thing.

Take a few deep breaths and lets watch what happens. I can't wait to watch the second round pick play defense and S.T.

I for one like the third round pick in Martin. He is a big boy with a nasty attitude and should comet with Sean Smith for his roster spot. I really like Wright. He is going to be special.

Lets face it our old philosophy of drafting all defense and plugging in offensive players here or there has not worked, unless you love mediocre teams.

I am cautiously optomistic about the draft class and can't wait to watch them in training camp.
