Sorry but Kuharsky's opinion is meaningless. He has to be one of the worst analyst on tv and radio today. Ughhh I don't know why the afc south got stuck with this guy.

I am still baffled why you bother to read this message board.

If you don't want to read fans opinions on team activities, why do you even read/post here?

Like the first and third round picks, but having trouble getting my head around how we pass on Kontz here. Amano must have naked picks of somebody in his back pocket...Dude somehow managed to avoid 4 or 5 FA centers earlier, and now#1 C in the draft that was sitting right there in Rd2.

And this pick reminds me more of Chris Henry ( I do recall a lot of people on this board ranting and raving about Henry The Beast )

I think Brown is a gamble, but Henry was taken 100% on measurables, while Brown was productive on the field. There are just concerns about his game/head.

He is definitely not a Paul Williams or Chris Henry.

I like the pick just for the fact that we'll finally have someone to cover the middle of the field with TEs....that's HUGE in today's game....he may not start from day 1 but let's all realize that this could be a tough year for our team with our schedule

This is my concern. I know nothing about Zach Brown but I know Amano and I know Konz was available.

Brown could be the next Lawrence Taylor for all I know but he sure as chit can't block for Chris Johnson. BPA my arse.

I don't think Brown was the BPA, at all. I think it was a lazy decision...and a dangerous one, at that.

Sure, the kid is fast but in the NFL you have to be fast, you have to be able to tackle and you have to shed blocks.

He isn't the total package and I think we reached for a VERY unsure thing.

Why would we go BPA in the 2nd round? We have to fill needs at some point...

Zach Brown was a need and if we can coach him up to tackle he'll be a stud in this league.

Definitely wasn't a "lazy" pick, whatever that means. As soon as we were on the clock our pick was in. There wasn't any real debate over Konz in that war room, they knew who they wanted and scooped him up.

Don't like the pick at all.

Yeah, he's fast. Not going to help much when you can't tackle Foster and MoJo, especially with the interior DL being mediocre and your one big FA acquisition not being known for being stout against the run.

Is he that much better than the LB's that would have been available in the 3rd?

I get the feeling we just drafted a 3rd down linebacker and a special teamer. And we skipped a 10 year center and a borderline 1st rounder at DT to get him.
