You say Ponder played good last year considering....but Locker was average? Your kidding right? Locker had a few more weapons sure but it wasn't that lopsided when Nate Washington is the #1 and CJ was struggling. Locker came off the bench cold and made plays sure his accuracy was off from time to time but he is a rookie they all go through growing pains. He pushed the ball down the field and made throws on the run which is his bread and butter. If you wanna say Ponder looked good last year considering be consistent. Locker played excellent last season, considering.

BTW Matt Ryan is a good QB but he isn't great and he should be considering the talent around him. He still has yet to become the QB he was supposed to be and I don't know if he ever will become elite as his draft selection would indicate.

Not saying Ponder wasn't average either. He was, which was good in his situation, imo.

Don't jump from me saying Locker showed promise but has a lot to work on to me saying he sucks. I never said he sucks.

I'm sure them having 1 page alone about them will make them happy.

    Not exactly superstars.

How can you compare Ponder and Locker's performance last year? Ponder actually started and played. Locker came into a few games where the opposition was playing prevent and scored a few touchdowns.

If Ponder looked like shiz so did Locker.

    Neither did.

Ponder making it out alive was impressive enough.

Ponder played like 9 more games than Locker, yet Lockers highlight tape is longer...lol. Get on somewhere dude. While I like Ponder(more than Gabbert), if you are a "Titans" fan and still say Ponder is better than Locker just because you predicted he'd be a better pro, something is wrong with you.

And BTW, Stevens has another amazing catch in this clip.

BACK TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAM....

I have some honest questions, simply because I'm curious:

How common is it to switch positions for the pros?

    Who did it successfully?

Did anyone do it successfully as a TE?

Oh god. Not only are you making this comparison... you're talking up Craig Stevens?

    You can't be serious.

Locker has about 5 more seconds per down to throw the ball than Ponder does.

I don't know about switching positions, but there have been some, Gates, Graham, that never played football at all.

While obviously in the short run, Thompson not having played TE in college would slow his development, I think in the long run, his having played DE will help him in the blocking department.
