And Jake Locker had 4 40+ yd passes last season with 452 less attempts than Hass ... All without Britt. Now that is explosive.

Exactly, when we can compare the two on the field come preseason. I think it will become pretty clear. I don't think there will be much of a debate after preseason.

    In Brady's second year.

Bledsoe was injured early in the season, Brady replaced him and started poorly but found his stride. When Bledsoe returned and was healthy, about mid-season, I'm sure some people were calling for him to remain starter as he was the vet. (or hell, maybe not)

But Bledsoe did come in the AFC Championship and led the Pats back to victory.

Over the stoolers then led by Kordell Stewart. His best year ever with just over 3000 yards passing and I think 14 td's.
When Bledsoe took that hit,it was unsure if he would ever return.

Think it could go either way. As both are capable QBs. But Locker has the advantage the way that it is going. But either way, whether starter or backup. Both are really good in all kinds of situations.

I just want the better guy playing. If Locker wins in camp and preseason then I'm all for him starting. If Hasselbeck is clearly the better of the two he should be the starter. If it's a tie, go with the future.

Everyone who just keeps preaching Hass's stats you should know by now that they are over rated. This is a playmaking league. While you still have to be consistent you have to be an explosive player. That is the exact opposite of what Hass is. I respect the guy for what he has done but he is nothing more than a game manager. I saw were someone wanted to compare him to Mcnair. While that is all good and fun to do Mcnair was the exact opposite of what Hass is. Mcnair constantly made up for his deficiencies in his passing game by making plays with his legs and I think that made our 99' defense look much better than they actually were by keeping our offense on the field. What did Hass do 90% of the time we had a 3rd down? Exactly. He passed short of the first down were someone was hit as soon as they caught the ball. Jake can run and is much more comparable to Mcnair than Hass is. This guy is our future and I don't want to see three and outs anymore and I do not care about the excuses. He didn't have Britt and Locker came in when the d was playing prevent. It doesn't matter Locker didn't have Britt either and I wonder how many 3 and outs he had? Locker will put Hass in his place in the preseason and that is behind him. No worries though this front office knows who gets them to the postseason. Wright was picked for Jake and maybe as Britt insurance but even if Britt didn't have his injury history, I think think they go with Wright in that situation anyway. This is a playmaking league and if they know there not getting a quality center then the second best option is to grab a playmaker to help both Locker and CJ. No more eight in the box fellas.

I think we should organize some bogus rumor like that, say in Taboo were no one could see it. Outside of taboo members of course, and see how long it takes the media to pick up on it.
