Love preseason (never went to any though) for Titans.

As a Madden gamer, I also really enjoy hearing about some relative unknowns so I can find them for a deal and feel like I have some attachment to them.

I like making franchises as RPG-like as possible, so picking up some 67 OVR RB that was able to run for 89 yards in a real life preseason game is cooler than just a 67 OVR RB.

    They're OK.
Should only be three of them. One for the starters, one for the starters and top rooks and one for all the rooks just to see how they play.
Bit the thought of losing a starter in the pre season scares the crap out of me.

I love the first five minutes of the first preseason game. After the first five minutes I realize it doesn't matter and all they're doing is running 45 times a game to get things over quickly.

I like preseason games due to the withdrawals I'm going through once they arrive.

But I like analyzing too. Finding out who can push for spots. Who should be playing but is getting the shaft from the staff, etc. That was probably more interesting in the Fisher days than in will be now. I knew the roster better than he did. As did most true fans.

Plus, you get to see our unknowns in live action for the first time.

I remember going to see us play the Rams in preseason because I wanted to see CJ's speed first hand and not against halfing it defenses of camps.

And that was the first TD he had in the NFL. Busting that big one loose. So basically... I saw CJ's first TD in person. Saw the flash of what was to come. Kind of cool...

Will be interested to see Wright and some others do the same.

they are boring and miserable. Especially when you have a 2 1/2 hour drive back home afterwards. Actually have never been to a Titans preseason game, have been to plenty of Colts ones, and they are awful. Zero fun, sir. I find myself restless at times during regular season games. During preseason, I'm in lala land.

I'm guessing the ones that don't hate it are the ones that don't have to pay a large amount of money for the tickets.

But all that being said, I bet a friend of mine might want to come down for a preseason game possibly. Tailgating is half the fun, sometimes 90 percent of the fun, depending on the game ;)

when the team is quitting, like the second half of the last 2 fishface seasons, the tailgate is all the fun

I'm convinced all college advisors are idiots (no offense to anyone here who may be one or is friends with one).

They don't do anything. It's a joke of a job from what I've seen. They basically expect you to pick out all your classes and they just say "yea, that works."

But I don't blame them... Just crazy stuff that happened. I still have some friends about as far along as me. I can't believe it's been 4 years since I graduated from high school.

Now that I can think about it, I was doing fine until about 3 games into the 2009 season... And I "dropped out" of Lipscomb the week just before Jeff Fisher put the Peyton jersey on with Dungy just 20 seconds from my dorm. Damn you, Fisher.

The only preseason game I have been to was the HOF game in 2009. It was a good time, but I sure would not like to be paying full regular season prices for pre-season games....that would blow.

I am also very nervous during the games about people getting hurt....I still remember the sight of Calico getting bent up like a pretzel by a then still legal horsecollar tackle.

I look forward to preseason games just because i've gone so long without football so it excites me that its time. I like to see the young guys play, see what the draft picks are looking like and see guys that come out of nowhere win roster spots. This applies to Titans only! I dont really care about/wont watch other teams preseason games.
But after 2 or 3 games, I'm ready for the season to get started.

TN football fans are gonna be so pumped to start the opener vs the Pats.

And even more pumped if Locker is the starter. We pretty much know what to expect from Beck. But the thought of what Locker can do a whole game with that many weapons is exciting.
