If we signed Peyton Manning...

It would be crazy bc we would have a franchinse QB (Locker), a Hall of Fame QB (Manning), and a PRO BOWL CENTER! The same FA centers that we brought in this spring would be begging us for a chance to sign, if we had Manning. Don't get me wrong, I am cool with our QB situation. However, if Manning was here, we would have a top 3 center on roster. If we would have never went after Manning, D. Williams would be on our Roster.

 

I chose option 3. Not that I would actually ever not be a Titans fan, but all the Vols fans coming out and saying stupid crap like "We are gonna turn LP field orange" really started to piss me off. I think I would have instantly hated half the fanbase if PM was a Titan.

Its not that I hate all UT fans, or UT, but its just that when you go to east TN, EVERYONE there is a Colts fan, and that just always made me mad. Then when you tell all those E.TN colts fans that the only reason is they like the Colts is that they have PM, half of them will say "NO, I have always been a Colts fan" ... then as soon as he left the Colts all those same fans are suddenly "titans fans" (when they thought we would get him)

 

Didn't all the top centers sign before Manning made his choice?

I wouldn't consider them "top centers" ... we could've had them if we really wanted to with or without the Manning situation.

 

I couldn't stomach all the UT fans that have talked crap about the Titans for the last 15 years jumping on the bandwagon.

It is bad enough watching co-workers dump their Colts stuff in the trash and put up Titans stuff.

 

I was a UT fan first, but that was only because there hasn't always been Titans. TOday, and ever since we've been blessed with the Titans, I've been a titans fan before a UT fan. Also I thoroughly enjoy watching the NFL more than I do NcAA, but, I've always hated manning, he never could win the big games when he was at UT anyways, I hope hes done week one next season, his brother is better anyway, or at least more clutch

 

I hate Peyton Manning. This team is better off without him.

 

I wouldn't be able to stomach an 1/8th of the stadium showing up in orange #16 jerseys.

i dont hate UT but its common decency to where your teams colors to a game. only exception is if we had maybe drafted manning and he was homegrown. anything else is just flat out disrespectful. just as bad as those guys who will wear a redskins jersey to a panthers and falcons game.
