I am hoping for a fair training camp as well. I hope they both see num 1 defenses in the preseason as well. I want Locker to earn the starting spot, but at the same time I am skeptical that it may not be a fair judgement. Even if it is, Hass is a great passer when healthy, no shame on Locker's part if he cannot out throw him.

Lets just hope he does give Hass a run if he cannot beat him out. It seems to be a common trend that we will not finish the season with Hass. Hell, I hope Locker beats him out right so we do not have to have the mid season switch. Just have to wait and see, we don't have that much longer.

Definitely agree. I like MH but most of us do agree that he won't be able to hold up the entire season so no need to go that route. It wouldn't just be handing the job to Jake, he's a hard worker, he's not some entitled player that demands to be played or else kind of thing. He'll bust his ass to keep the job and to succeed.

Another problem I see with that is, we know what kind of QB Locker is. I would atleast like to have Hass healthy in case Locker takes a big hit somewhere. Last thing you want is either one of them to come out gimpy. Or even worse, have Rusty come out.

Not something that I see brought up much.

If Britt is out for the start of the season I guarantee that Locker will be the starter.

Good point. When Hass gets hurt around mid season, we won't have a decent back up once Locker takes over. I've never though of it that way. It would be nice to have a healthy Hass on the bench over a hobbled Hass.

I have always wanted Locker to get the nod with the right conditions. I just want to keep the playing field with the Hass/Locker threads level.

So did you not really mean what you were saying in those threads? Why did you feel the need to keep the playing field level?

No, I really meant what I said. I do not believe that we are any worse off with Hass. The only issue with Hass is his durability. Which will not be an issue come week 1, if Locker cannot beat out Hass, he does not deserve the #1 spot. That goes with any position on the offense. I feel that some of the 'Locker' guys are not bringing accurate information. No one really knows how he will play, or how teams will play against him when given the time.
