So, my football juices were pumping and I decided what better to do than pop in Madden and start a franchise, simulate past the first season (last years season actually) and head into this upcoming season with all of the players gone, and new players on the roster. Even drafted all the guys same rounds, same positions, BUT did have to change their names haha. Anyways I had to trade for Kamerion Wimbley. As you know he was an OLB for Oakland.
I bring him to Tn, make him a DE and would you believe his overall rating went to 99!!!!!
    Man, one can only hope.:)
Anyways just wanted to discuss what kind of impact do you think will Wimbley will have in reality?
Also, who are the sleepers on the d-line?
Seems like there was some hype on Pannel Egboh this offseason, and the fact that he went against Big Country everyday on practice squad should really help him. Plus he has good height weight numbers. Also, Malcom Sheppard who in college was nicknamed "wood" because he laid it. Got some nice rookies coming in, a few older guys from practice squad, and Douzable if anyone recalls that franchise booming free agent signee.
    Thoughts?

I knew about the Madden rating thing. It does that with a ton of LBs. It's just a flaw in the game.

He better have the most sacks.

Wimbley should lead the sacks, but I would like to see Ayers step up his total this year.

As for Morgan, if he just plays average football (which he always has) and stays healthy, i'll be fine. Anything else from him is overachieving in my eyes.

Don't forget that Morgan should actually be near 100 % for the first time since very early in his rookie season.

Wimbley will be facing left tackles all year, those guys are usually great pass blockers, so Morgan will end up leading in sacks.

If Klug played more Id vote for him, but he wont see enough plays to lead the team.

Don't be shocked if Sheppard becomes your best DE.

You don't think that Klug will get more reps after his performance last year?
