Darius Reynaud

Well, I saw Reynaud play fantastic against the 3's and harper play like a slug against the 3's... Where is the question? I bet we see Reynaud earlier in the game next week.

 

The only problem I see with that is it kind of tips off the defense as to what we may be doing. After watching his return he really didn't do anything special, he made a cut to the left and ran up the sideline. Nothing Mariani couldn't have done cause Reynaud's top end speed didn't seem overly impressive.

 

That is what he did a lot of in college, and he did a very job of it. He is quick enough and shifty enough to turn what seems to be a negative play into a positive gain.

 

Yeah that is crazy. And I thought I was the only Titans fan in this state, lol. Well minus my family (Aunt, Uncle and 3 cousins) that is.

 

I say that runningbacks have to be hungry. Reynaud seems pretty hungry and Harper and Ringer haven't been getting it done. I'd start letting him see action early if we're comfortable in games and see what he can do. He'll get more time against 1st and 2nd stringers as pre-season goes on, but if he continues to perform, give him a shot.

As far as the CJ issue, 1st its too early to judge him, and 2nd we're going to need two backs regardless. We have one of our backs. Now its just time to find a change of pace/backup.

 

It is nice to see someone run like they actually want to play in the NFL.

 

Unfortunately, I have seen quite a few players cut when I thought for sure that Lavelle "come through once in a blue moon" Hawkins was for sure going away.

My guess is that we will do something stupid and cut Reynaud thinking that we will resign to practice squad and he'll get picked up by another team.

We'll see..maybe we've changed.

had to cheer for a team that nobody did..... which meant not the steelers.....
started getting into football in '99.. the same year of the music city miracle and beating the squeelers twice that year

 

Can't hurt to give him some quality reps to see what he really has

 

I thought I read that he has too much time to go to the practice squad.
