Kenny Britt on when he'll return: "Sooner than you think"

Out of all of the other players that met with Goodell and then were suspended, how much time went by between the meeting and the suspension? Anyone know? Could be a good indicator on when/if we will hear something on Kenny getting suspended or not.

 

I just feel like he would have already said something about it if he were going to do something.
Maybe he is waiting for Kenny to heal up and then suspend him, but even if he were I still think he would have said something about it by now. If we don't hear anything in the next week or so I think Goodell might be nice and not suspend him.

 

Goodell is probably too busy with the NFLPA and NFLRA to have made a decision on Britt yet

 

I think the commish is waiting to see when Britt will be ready to play. If Britt is ready next week he will only get 4 games. If Britt still needs several weeks to heal up he will get 6 games. The commish isnt dumb he wants Britt to pay. Suspending him if he's gonna be out anyways is just doing him a favor. So it's better if Britt plays a preseason game soon.

 

Truthfully, I doubt it. Based on the way he talks and writes, I doubt he has a friggin clue what went on in Goodell's office.

Sure. But Goodell strikes me as a fairly hard guy to read. I get the impression Britt thinks nothing is going to happen here. I'm betting Goodell drops the goon hand.
