CJ Can Run The 40 In Under 4 Seconds

Who cares if CJ thinks he can run that fast? Why do people give a crap?

 

lol @ the he got caught by a DE crap. You guys are just too much. Every single time anyone made these claims last season, I watched the play in question, and CJ was waiting on potential blocks in front of him when "he was caught from behind" by linemen. Why is that he can blow by DB's on one play, and get caught by linemen on another? Because he's not running full speed when he's waiting on blocks. There's no way that everyone who makes these claims knows so little about football that they don't already know that. Straight up hating. lol

 

The only things wrong with CJ's running are his inability to break tackles (or even try that hard to do so), and the fact that everyone knows how to play against him now, unlike a few years ago: cover your gaps. if you leave him space to run, he will blow by you, but if you don't, he'll crumple to the ground easy.

 

He's not even the fastest guy in the NFL.

Who is? Who knows... but more importantly- who cares? You're playing football. You can't run track anyway, because you'd have to stay on your feet for longer than 3 seconds for that.

No I'm serious. Pushing off of something and running in track cleats would greatly improve my 40 time.

 

If you go and watch some of his highlight videos from his first two years, you can really see the change in his running style. He never was a power back of course, but he would bounce off tackles and that has been his most drastic change. Not so much the loss of speed.

 

Fixing CJ is very very simple.

Step 1. Stop looking for the home runs, read the defenses and shoot for the holes

Step 2. take whats there, and refuse to go down on first contact
