Titans reach one-year deal with G Deuce Lutui

    The Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with guard Deuce Lutui, who worked out for the team last week.

    Lutui, who played at Southern Cal, played from 2006-11 with the Cardinals. He spent this offseason with the Seahawks, but was released last month.

    Lutui is scheduled to fly to Nashville on Monday night, and sign with the team on Tuesday. The Titans will have to release a player from the 53-man roster to make room for Lutui. Lutui had been contacted by several other teams as well.

    “This looks to Deuce and myself like the best possible fit,’’ agent Ken Harris said.

    The Titans don't have to pay for a full season by signing him now.

    Not a lot of love from what I've found about him online. At this point, why not take a look?

    I doubt he'll offer much and it worries me he was without a team until now, but hopefully he can come in and help.
