I'm sure this has been posted, but I didn't see it so I'm just going to say me piece.

This was a bad pick. He may turn out to be a good receiver, and I like how he looked in the preseason, but why the hell did we spend a first round pick on a WR? We have SO many glaring issues. Safety, DB, LB (especially without McCarthy...the middle of our defense is free pickin's for slant routes and bubble screens), OL, RB, and DL. I wouldn't say its a stretch to call our WR corps and pass catchers in general the deepest area of the team. Hawk, DWill, Washington, Cook, Stephens.... we have plenty of guy who can catch the ball just as effectively as Wright.

Why the hell didn't we draft defense? I see other teams with first round picks who come in and immediately make an impact. We currently don't have a first round pick on our team who is anywhere near the top 10 at their position. Griffin is the only one close, and I think we all know that his "superiority" at the safety position is a facade created by people who don't watch him play every Sunday the way we do. CJ, KB, Morgan (wtf is up with that guy? He sucks), Pacman, VY...our list of first round non performers is staggering. CJ I think is still good, but it gets harder and harder to rationalize the lower his YPC gets. Maybe if we drated a C or OG then we would have an answer.

Our coordinators are jokes. Our drafts suck. Bud Adams needs to pass the damn torch or something, because this is getting hard to watch. The difference between being a crap team and a legitimate threat is in good coaching and the addition of maybe 5 more good players to any given team. We just can't seem to make the right moves.

He was drafted to surround our first round quarterback with as many weapons as possible. Give Locker the best chance to succeed instead of ending up like Gabbert with no hope at all.

Does Kendall Wright add that to our offense? I don't think his addition takes our C- offense even to a C grade. PROTECTION. Games are won from the inside out. Let a QB stand in the pocket with time and it doesn't matter who the receivers are, someone will get open and he'll hit them. Make him run for his life and not let plays develop...well....you're 1-3 with an injured QB, terrible numbers on 3rd down, and no hope until next year,

I don't understand your argument. Who should the Titans have taken with that pick? We obviously weren't going to pick a tackle and I'll take a guy who touches the ball and scores touchdowns over an interior offensive lineman every time. EVERY time.

I don't agree with this opinion at all.

We perhaps(and probably would have, I will not lie) could have gotten more value from a lineman here but it was the right pick. Britt has still not made an impact this season, Cook has been unreliable until now, and outside of Nate, we had no one on offense. We have a young QB and it is important to give him talent to grown with. I don't think anyone would have thought our line would be this poor. We did bring in Hutch, so it was not like we did not address it.

Now, if you want to discredit the 2nd round pick, I can get behind that. Not even knocking on Brown, because I have been impressed so far. We have serious issues with this line, and I think an OL would have been a much better value to us than a coverage OLB which we still end up giving tight ends career days.

As far as defense goes, we are loaded with talent. Yes, I said it, we have tons of talent there. Sadly, we just do not have the coach to utilize them. I think a pick on D would have been a bigger waste.

Really? We can't run the ball because of our terrible interior offensive line. Our QB is injured right now because he get's his butt kicked every week. That's indicative of a lousy OLine. Wright hasn't been terrible at all for us, but he certainly hasn't been a difference maker. We can't run or protect the QB. Therefore it doesn't matter if we have Jerry Rice and Randy Moss line up wide, we will suck.

Teams loaded with talent simply don't give up 40 points a game. Same as offense...our outside is good, our interior sucks. Unfortunately for us, games and championships are won at the line of scrimmage.

Kendall Wright is no better then anyone else in our pass catching corps. That's why it was a dumb pick. We could have majorly upgraded our offensive or defensive line, the weakest areas of our team

Yeah, really. Wright playing right now is better than David DeCastro injured and not contributing at all, which is the exact situation.

Look, I get your frustration, but Locker's initial injury was on a tackle after a fumble, not bad protection. Lets not overreact. Not to mention his re-injury was on a blitz in which he should have thrown the hot route and not been hit at all. Cook was looking for the ball, Locker didn't see it.

Hated the pick at first, but I like it now.

It was the Brown and Sensabaugh picks I didn't like. In round 2, I would've taken Konz, but that's just me. If you must take a LB, it should've been David. As for Sensabaugh, there were better corners available, and of course, we could've let Griffin walk and kept Finnegan or traded a 7th round pick (essentially Solomon *gasp*) for Asante Samuel.

But again... I'm not GM, unfortunately.

Locker is injured now because of poor officiating and his inability to see the blitz at the line. I am almost 100% certain that we have a top 5 line in terms of pass protection.

Again, not saying the line is not a problem, because it certainly is. But we have a very nice player in the 2nd round that would have filled that need and evened us out on offense. The line problems go on Munch, when he took Brown, he said that he was not worried about their performance this season and it is costing us.
